Susan Elaine Krans' Obituary
Susan Elaine Krans, passed away on April 26, 2026 at Poet’s Walk in Warrenton, VA. She was born on June 14, 1958 in Mississippi.
Susan will be remembered as a woman who truly embraced life’s simple joys and meaningful moments. She found peace and happiness in her garden, where she lovingly tended her flowers and plants, creating beauty that reflected her own spirit. An ultimate animal lover, Susan had a special place in her heart for her dogs, proudly wearing the title of “dog mom” and giving them the same love and devotion she shared with those closest to her.
She had a passion for travel and adventure, always ready to explore new places, make memories, and enjoy life to the fullest. Whether near or far, Susan brought her sweet yet sassy personality wherever she went, lighting up every room with her warmth, humor, and unmistakable charm.
Susan dedicated many years of her professional life to her work, beginning her career at IBM in Manassas, Virginia, and later continuing with Lockheed Martin, where she faithfully served for over 20 years. Her strong work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and friends alike.
Above all, Susan cherished her family. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 35 years, whose partnership and love were the foundation of a life well lived together.
