Susan Barakat-Aly's Obituary
Susan Marie Barakat-Aly, 40, of Spotsylvania, formerly of Culpeper died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 29, 1972 in Fredericksburg, VA.
Susan was a member of Mine Road Baptist Church in Spotsylvania and St. Stephens Church while she was living in Culpeper.
She is survived by her mother, Cindy Jett; her daughter, Chanté Marie Burns of Spotsylvania; her daughter’s father, Jonathan Burns, Sr. of Washington, DC; maternal grandmother, Merle Lee of Spotsylvania; one aunt, Bonnie Fincham and her husband, Charlie of Gordonsville; one uncle, Ray Lee of Spotsylvania and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, William A. Jett.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Jeff Parsons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the family c/o Found and Sons to establish a trust fund for her daughter’s education.
