Sue Ellen Haliski's Obituary
Sue Ellen Haliski, born November 2, 1952 in Alton, Illinois, died Monday, February 8, 2021, at home in Culpeper.
She graduated with a BS in Nursing from Illinois Wesleyan in 1975. She moved that same year to Portland, Oregon and worked for 25 years as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, lactation consulting, and orthopedics at Good Samaritan Hospital, Legacy Health Group, and Visiting Nurses. She also lived from 2004-2009 in Charlotte, North Carolina, before moving to Culpeper to be close to her only grandchild.
Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sue married Ray Korte Haliski on July 13, 1974. She is survived by her husband, Ray of Culpeper; daughter, Jennifer Haliski; her husband, Joseph Fox; and her granddaughter, Julia Fox, all of Silver Spring, Maryland. She is also survived by her two sisters, Gloria Russell and Dana Dick, both of Orlando, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma (Everly) Brown and father Oral Wayne Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021, in the Found and Sons Funeral Home chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. Due to COVID 19 mandates, masks will be required in the funeral home.
