Stuart Talmage Colvin's Obituary
Stuart Talmage Colvin of Rixeyville, VA died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his devoted family.
Stuart was born on June 9, 1937 in CharlesTown, WV to the late Talmage Dewitt and Maggie Belle Anderson Colvin.
Stuart was honored as a Kentucky Colonel, appointed in the Commonwealth. As a double honor his two sons Talmage and Graham were also appointed this honor. He was a member of the American Legion. He was also proud to be a graduate of the University of Virginia having received a degree in aeronautical engineering.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Jeannell Colvin, two sons: Stuart Talmage Colvin II and Graham Shadrach Colvin and one daughter Ann (Tia) Colvin and two grandchildren: Maggie Rae and William Atticus Grady.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A Funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel .
Talmage Colvin, Graham Colvin, Joe Jones, John Rothert, Dan Coughnour, and Ryan Chapman will be serving as pallbearers.
