Steven Lane Zimmerman's Obituary
Steven Zimmerman, 66, of Spotsylvania County passed away Monday, November 13, 2017.
He was a Vietnam veteran and had a long career with Virginia Power Company. Later in life, he worked at Bowman Distillery.
Steven was always helping his friends. Whether it was on the farm, helping with the horses and the cows, or working on cars and farm machinery, he was always there to lend a hand. His craftsmanship and handiness will be sorely missed by those who had the pleasure of his assistance.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son, Mike and his wife, Laine; two daughters, Sandy Lynn and Janice and her husband Joseph; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; other loving extended family; and his horse, Ginger.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
