Steven Wade Childress' Obituary
Steven Wade Childress, 53, of Catlett, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Hospice of Piedmont Acute Care in Charlottesville, VA.
He was self-employed by Lite-Tek Entertainment. Steven was very passionate about his music from the Grateful Dead to Bluegrass. He was a quality home builder and finisher.
Steven is survived by his mother, June “Louise” Childress; sister, Valerie Childress; his girlfriend and caregiver, Dana Nowack; daughter, Mary Kathryn Childress; son, Wyatt Childress; mother of his children, Cynthia Childress; as well as many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond F. Childress and his brother, Ralph L. Childress.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Found and Sons Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Road, Jeffersonton, VA; where friends can share memories.
The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and many prayers. Special thanks goes to Hospice of Piedmont. Thanks to all those who visited him and played music for him during his illness.
