Steve was like my Virginia father figure while I lived there. He always looked out for my dog and I while we lived there. He helped me so much my 2 years in VA. I loved pouring beer at the fairgrounds while chopping it up with Steve and laughing all night. You can tell how great a person is by how animals react to them and my dog, Stella, loved Steve more than anything. She still perks up when she hears his voice on old videos.Thank you Steve, Sue, Max, and Maddie for making me feel so welcomed when I moved to VA all by myself. Steve will always be remembered. I’ll always remember when my headlights are foggy, wipe them down with motor oil and they’re brand new.

Steve, was one of the nicest people I ever met, always there to help if you needed it, he always had something nice to say. Steve will always have a place in my heart, and will be missed.
What a great man @ Will be missed but never forgetten! When I think of Steve I smile.
A good friend. A great public servant. A good officer of the law and much much more. I always enjoyed his service at the Fredericksburg rescue squad. A loving husband! He will really be missed!!
I rode with Steve on the Motor Squad for 8 years. He was upbeat and funny, hard worker. We trained new riders together and went to Saudi Arabia to train troops there. A fine instructor. We took dinner rides on our off ours with our wives. Much respect for him as a policeman, husband, father and friend. RIP brother. You earned it
Dear Sue, Camden, & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I have known Steve since we were in the first grade together at the old Lafayette Elementary School. He was always a true blue friend and cared about every. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My love and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
