Stephen Frederick Worrall's Obituary
Stephen “Steve” Frederick Worrall passed away July 13th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 57.
Stephen was born on May 24th 1967 in Dover, Delaware. Stephen enjoyed his career as a copier technician at Ricoh-USA for thirty plus years. He was a simple man that enjoyed a simple life. He loved his family, God, country and the outdoors.
Steve was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, pop-pop, grand-paw and friend. He loved being around his family, grandchildren and grandpup. He loved to participate in the family holidays, but maybe not being dressed up like a Christmas tree(ask his sisters).
Stephen enjoyed the little things in life. From sitting at the table and talking, playing solitaire on his phone, playing fetch with his grandpup Willow, throwing darts, fishing, camping, and visiting the ocean.
Stephen was a happy man and it did not take much to make him smile. He was a kind man with a big heart and gave the best hugs. He was always willing to help those in need. Once you were in Stephen’s circle he considered you family for life. His biggest legacy was that family mattered above all else.
Stephen F. Worrall is survived by his parents, Fredrick and Kay Worrall; his sons, Lane Worrall(Sara & granddaughter Francesca) and Coby Worrall; two sisters, Kathleen Santilli(Albert) and Andrea C. Spriggs(Ronald); and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his stepchildren, David Edenton(Alison), Sarah Taylor(Matt); and grandchildren, Kinsley, Elisabeth, Caleb, and Baby Taylor(on the way).
Steve was preceded in death by his late wife, Deborah R. Worrall, but they are now at rest together. They both cherished their children and grandchildren.
A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Saturday, August 10th at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. The family will receive family and friends at 10:00 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, to honor Stephen’s memory, a donation can be made to K9 Warriors. https://donate.k9sforwarriors.org
Stephen “Steve” Worrall will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gone Fishing-
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea,
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishing hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry or feel sorry for me,
I’m fishing with The Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for a while,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missing
Just tell them that I’ve gone fishing.
What’s your fondest memory of Stephen?
