Stephen Howard Milem's Obituary
Stephen Howard Milem passed away on June 11, 2024 at his home in Spotsylvania, VA.
Stephen was born on July 26, 1954 in Meadow Bluff, Greenbrier County, WV to the late Howard Esmond Milem and Ollie Marie Milem (Fox).
He worked as a Teamsters Union car hauler for over 30 years until his retirement.
Stephen is survived by his children, Jan Marie Eren (Jeremy Eren) of Dunbar, WV, Milo (Stephanie) Joan Milem (Genevieve Brooks), of Montross, VA, and William Howard Milem of King George, VA; his granddaughter, Emma Eren of Dunbar, WV; his former wife and friend, Suzanne Joan Milem of King George, VA; and by his sisters: Gloria (Snooks) Clevenger of Ghent, NY, Rosetta Ann Brammer of East Schodack, NY and Donna LaTorre of Valatie, NY. He also leaves behind his best friend and loyal companion, Chief.
Per his request, there will be no formal services. It was his wishes that his ashes be spread in West Virginia; in the mountains he grew up in and where his parents and grandparents are buried.
The family is accepting donations towards the cremation to Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
