Song "Mina" Ostrander's Obituary
Song (Mina) Wol Ostrander, 63, passed away on November 9, 2018 at home in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on September 14, 1955 in Uijeongbu, Korea.
While residing in Korea, Mina met, fell in love and married William F.L. Ostrander who was a United States Air Force soldier stationed at Osan Air Force Base.
Mina is remembered for being a caring, loving and often feisty person who left this world too early and well before her time.
Mina is survived by her husband of 36 years, William F.L. Ostrander; daughter, Serena L. Ostrander; step-children, Charles W. Ostrander, and Brenda L. Trelinski; grandchildren, Orin McNeely, Aela McNeely, Alexander Ostrander, Sebastian Ostrander, Cody Ostrander, Cameron Trelinski, and Chase Trelinski; along with three siblings; a number of nephews; and her mother residing in Korea, Kim-Yon Sun.
She was preceded in death by her father, Yi-Chun Hwan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel..
Burial will take place on MOnday, November 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Quantico National Cemetery.
