Sidney Blumenthal age 87 passed away on January 15, 2009 at Manassas Nursing & Rehab Center.
Sidney worked for the federal Government for 20 years as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service from which he retired in 1978.He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothea and his brother Albert.Survivors include a son, Barry P. Blumenthal and wife Patricia of Centreville VA., a daughter Linda Cohen of Suffern NY., a sister Mildred Oberhardt of Indianapolis IN. Other survivors include eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.The family request expressions of symphony take form of donations to Capital Hospice, 4715 North 15th St. Arlington VA 22205.A graveside service will be held at Kensico Cemetery at 11:00 am on Sunday January 18, 2009 in Valhalla NY.
