Shirley Jean Pritt's Obituary
Shirley Jean Utz Pritt, 79, of Culpeper, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Culpeper Hospital. She was born September 6, 1946 to the late E.H. Utz and Ethel Dora Garr Utz in Mitchells, VA.
Her love of gardening was evident in the vibrant flowers she grew, each one a reflection of her gentle and caring spirit.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Patsy “Pat” Ann Utz; special friends, Linda Parrish and Jean McClung; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her partner, Louis Parrish, who was the love of her life; sisters, Myrtle Myers, Arlene Wood, and Pearl Utz; and her brother, Thomas Nelson Utz.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Rt. 522.
