Shirley E. Morrison's Obituary
Shirley E Morrison, 85, of Warrenton died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Fauquier Hospital. She was born in West Virginia on June 8, 1927, a daughter of Harvey & Carrie Blevins. She enjoyed reading her Bible and going to church as well as spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sue Kennedy and 13 siblings.
She is survived by four children; Sandra Partika and husband John of San Diego, Ca, Donna Damato of Ocala Fla, Joanne Smith and husband David Smith of Culpeper, and James Bassarab and wife Kimberly Bassarab of Haymarket.
Shirley is survived by her 14 grandchildren; Melissa Gibson and husband Robert, Sabrina Mason and husband John, Christina Hollingsworth, Jacob McCarver and wife Christina, Donna Jo Tolman, Jim Tolman, John Kennedy, Tiffany Bowers and husband Mark, Daniel Hayzlett and wife Robyn, Jennifer Bassarab, Joshua Hayzlett, Connor Smith, Hanah Bassarab, & Emma Bassarab. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 14th from 6 to 8 PM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15 at 11 AM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Dawson officiating.
Inurnment will be private at a later date.
