Shirley Lou Campbell's Obituary
Sunrise – July 7th, 1938 - Sunset – June 26th, 2016
Mrs. Shirley Lou Campbell (Woodward), 77, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in her home in Culpeper, VA on Sunday June 26th, 2016.
Shirley grew up in Remington, Va. A devote Christian woman she dedicated her life to leading others to Christ. She taught Sunday school for many years and was active in woman’s ministries. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother & friend Shirley brightened the hearts of every life she touched.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda K. James and son-in-law Donald Jesse James of Goldvein, VA and her son William Anthony “Tony” Campbell of Culpeper, VA.; brother Richard Woodward and sister-in-law Viola Woodward of Forest, VA ; her sisters in laws Ann Woodward of Tennessee and Rebecca Woodward of Remington, VA. She is also survived by two granddaughters, five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Jenkins and her husband William P. Campbell; her father Jacob A. Woodward and mother Lottie P. Woodward; her brothers Edward Jenkins (sister in law Devolia Jenkins), Franklin Woodard, Douglas Woodward and James Woodward.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
Funeral service will be Thursday June 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
