Shirley Alma Bailey's Obituary
Shirley Alma Bailey, 86, of Ruther Glen, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Bowling Green Health and Rehab Center. She was born May 23, 1939, to Joseph Francis Keay and Dorothy Phyllis Keay.
Shirley retired from the Department of Agriculture after many years. She loved quilting, needlepoint, and cross-stitching.
Shirley is survived by her son, Joseph Scott Bailey; her granddaughter, Candace Marie Bailey (Frankie Jackson); her three great-grandchildren, Jelan, aged 12, Andre, aged 9 and Aryiah, aged 3; sister, Betty Trenkle; and brother, Greg Keay.
In addition to her mother and father, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Rochelle Marie Bailey; her husband, Robert Dean Bailey; and her twin sister, Sharon McCall.
Shirley will be cremated and sent to rest in peace with her late daughter and husband at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
