Shirlee Lee Martin's Obituary
Shirlee Lee Martin, 88, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in South Carolina. She was born April 28, 1935, in Washington, D.C. to the late Alvin C. and Wilhemina Minetree.
Shirlee is survived by three children Alisa Lynn Chapella (Joe), Daniel B. Allen (Lisa), and Joey D. Allen (Debbie); one daughter-in-law, Robin; ten grandchildren, Brandon Allen, Andrew Allen, Joshua Theodore Allen, Thomas John Allen, Robby Allen, Ryan Allen, Julia Allen, Brett Allen, Blair Allen, and McKayla Farrell; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “T.Y.” Young Martin; two sons, Bobby B. Allen and Jack Allen; and one sister, Joan L. Fairley.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Bill Watson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow immediately at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers serving the family will be Brandon Allen, Andrew Allen, Joshua Theodore Allen, Thomas John Allen, Robby Allen, Ryan Allen, Brett Allen, and Chris Farrell.
