Shelby Jean Wright's Obituary
Shelby Jean Wright of Stafford County passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at her home after putting up a fierce fight against cancer.
She is now at peace, but will forever be missed by all who were blessed to know her. She was an amazingly caring woman and the amount she gave of herself, to and for others is truly astounding. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
Shelby is survived by her mother, Bernice Daniels of Stafford. Her three children: Robert P. Wright and his fiancée Tanya, Pamela L. Arnold and her husband Thomas, all of Spotsylvania County, James A. Wright and his wife, Allie of Haymarket. A brother, Robert G. Burton of Stafford. Nine grandchildren, Robert, Dalton, Megan, Justin, Jeffrey, Taylor, Nathan, Roy and Ashley. One great- grandson, Dylan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Alvin Wright; a granddaughter, Dawn; her father, William Burton and her stepfather, Howard Daniels.
Shelby’s family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
