Sheila Kay Goldsmith's Obituary
Sheila Kay Goldsmith, 80, of Spotsylvania County, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Maxwell West and Daisy Pauline West (Kuhlman). Sheila attended and graduated from Raytown High School in Missouri, in 1961. Her career as a secretary spanned most of her adult life employed at Raytown First Baptist Church and Barstow School in Kansas City, Missouri and Rives Worrell Construction in Savannah, Georgia.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry Lee Goldsmith; her daughters, Michell Smith (Ross), and Diana Ashby (Preston); son, Christopher Goldsmith (Jennifer); four granddaughters, Rachel, Lindsey, Hannah and Avery; a grandson, William; two great-granddaughters, Felicity and Riley; along with a great-grandson, Brayden.
Per Sheila’s wishes, she will be cremated.
