Shawn Michael Woodson II's Obituary
Shawn Michael Woodson, II, (A.K.A., Shawn Michael, Mikey, Cotton and 101 Woodson), 16, of Spotsylvania County passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Shawn was a member of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff Cadet Program. He had a passion for security and protection and enjoyed fishing with his grandma.
Shawn is survived by his parents, Shawn and Cindy Woodson; a brother, Joshua Woodson; his maternal grandfather, Rick Thornton; and his paternal grandparents, Brenda and George Woodson, all of Spotsylvania; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Shawn’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
