Shawn Donnell Johnson's Obituary
Shawn Donnell Johnson passed away peacefully at his home in Fredericksburg VA on Sunday, August 30, 2020. He was born on June 16, 1983, in Warrenton, VA to Kim R. Cephas and Leroy K. Johnson.
Shawn was devoted to the love of family and although quite vast he visited and showed his affection to everyone every chance he could. Out spoken and full of his own unique humor, Shawn had no problem telling you what he thought about things and laughed at you for getting upset often saying, “Stop being so soft.”
Shawn was educated in Prince William County Public Schools and a current employee of B and B Signals of Manassas, VA. Rededicating his life to God, Shawn was baptized and joined St. John Baptist Church of Hurleytown. On November 13, 2010, Shawn was joined in marriage to Leeann Jones.
Shawn had a love for boxing, fishing, tattoos, and cars. He was a poet and an artist. Shawn could recite you every lyric of music by Tupac Shakur and prided himself on teaching you the meaning of the songs. However, nothing could amount to the love he had for his grandson, King.
Shawn leaves a host of family to cherish his memory to include, his wife, Leeann Jones of Fredericksburg, VA; parents, Kim and Bobby Cephas of Culpeper, VA; children, Shantel P. Minor of Warrenton, VA, Elijah M.
