Sharon Marie Staats' Obituary
Sharon Marie Staats, 66, of Reva, died Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at her home. She was born March 22, 1958, in Manassas to the late Clyde and Elizabeth Wampler.
Sharon loved being outdoors. She was a loving mother, nana, and great-nana. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Franklin Staats; three children, David Staats (Susan), Melissa James (Kenny), and Rose Burke (Lonnie); eleven grandchildren, Travis Staats (Sam), Katie James, Alicia Foster, Nathan James, Zach Foster, Emily Foster, Elijah James, Jaden Staats, Brandon Collier, Makenzie Collier, and Hailey Dodson; two great-grandchildren, Cassandra Foster and Samara Thompson; two sisters, Barbara Geris, and Carol Fincham; one brother, John Wampler; and her side-kick, her dog, Mimi.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Allen and Catherine Rice; and three brothers, Ronnie Wampler, Eddie Wampler, and Roy Wampler.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Kenny James officiating.
