Sharon Lee McGuire's Obituary
Sharon Lee McGuire, 66, of Fredericksburg, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Sharon liked to crochet, color, watch TV, play games on her phone, read her bible and pray. She liked her job as a cashier at Walmart and enjoyed talking to her customers and fellow workers about The Lord. She enjoyed sending scriptures to her family and friends to encourage them. She and Patrick enjoyed spending the holidays with family, her daughter and son-in-law, five grandkids and her sisters.
Sharon enjoyed having date nights with her husband and taking road trips to see new things. Sharon also like playing board games and cards with family. Sharon loved candles and Christian movies. She enjoyed attending church with Patrick until her illness made it hard for her to do so.
She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; daughter, Renee Young (Mike); son, Richard Bowling Jr. (Jenna); sisters, Patricia Zidek and Linda K. Lee; brother, Richard A. Lee; her grandchildren, Mike Jr, Kayla, Matthew, Jason, and Jacob Young, and Leland Bowling; one great-grandson, Waylon Young; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Lee Sr; mother, Geraldine Lee; sister, Barbara Cross; and brothers, Lester Lee Jr and Bruce W. Lee.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at International Revival Outreach Center (IROC), 150 Leeland Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. Her family will receive friends one hour prior.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
