Shari Angela Fernandez's Obituary
Shari Angela Fernandez (Prokop) passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, loved, and in the comfort of her faith.
Known for her sharp wit and warm sense of humor, Shari brought light and laughter to those around her. She deeply valued people and found great fulfillment in her work as a Bonds & Addressing Technician for Fairfax County, where her dedication and cheerful spirit touched many colleagues.
Shari was a devoted daughter of Christ whose strength and grace carried her through significant health challenges in recent years.
Shari is survived by her beloved son, Michael; her brothers, Mark and John; and her sisters-in-law, Shelby and Karen.
She now joins her parents, Richard and Linda, in God’s eternal love and peace. Her kindness, perseverance, and joy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at New City Fellowship, 200 Prince Edward Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
