Shana Nicholson
Shana Nicholson, 37, of Culpeper, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Culpeper Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born February 25, 1970 in Arlington to Dana Nicholson and the late Sharyn Farmer Nicholson.
Shana was a 1988 graduate of Culpeper County High School. She was an avid horsewoman. She was well known at Sumerduck Farm and Commonwealth Park with her horse “Budweiser”. She was very athletic and loved animals. She was a wonderful friend to many people.
She was working on a farm in Warrenton taking care of horses and studying to become a Para-legal, when at the age of nineteen was involved in a car accident which left her in a comatose state.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Lillie Broderick and her grandparents, John and Marion (Mimi) Panzera, with whom she lived throughout her childhood and loved dearly.
She is survived by her sister Summer Craig and brother-in-law, Michael Combs and nephew Maddox. She is also survived by close relatives Richard and Lucille Arneel and their children Richard, Terrance, Chris and Lisa. Also Larry and Theresa Schroeder and their children Steve, John and Craig Schroeder and Tommy Lizotte.
Also, her many friends that knew her before her accident. The friends that knew her favorite color, her favorite song and shared so many good times with her. They had to say good-bye seventeen years ago so they could go on with their lives and their memories. She will never be forgotten. Also thanks, to the Medical Staff and Caretakers.
