Sarah Love Light's Obituary
Sarah Love Light, 65, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday December 23, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 49 years, David P. Light, Sr.; four daughters, Sarah Ann Derby and her husband, David of Norfolk, Sherry Garretson of Fredericksburg, Kimberly Light and her partner, Alicia Hamilton of King George County and Kristy Young and her husband, Brian of Fredericksburg; a son, David P. Light, Jr. and his wife, Jonda of Spotsylvania County; a sister, Leah, of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and her church family.
Sarah’s family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Spotsylvania Church of God, 12240 Five Mile Road, Fredericksburg with Pastor Donald Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Sarah’s family requests that donations be made to the Sarah Love Fund, P.O. Box 1072, King George, VA 22485.
