Sarah Jane Fischer's Obituary
Sarah Jane “Sally” Fischer, 65, of Fredericksburg, went into the arms of the Goddess on Monday, January 9, 2017.
She leaves behind her loving companion, James Horner, who became a great comfort to her after the passing of her late husband, Leo Fischer; her son, Franklin Moyer; granddaughter, Abigail Moyer; stepchildren, Mary and Albert Fischer; and the many others who considered her “mom”.
Sally’s family will receive friends from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 in the funeral home chapel, with her dear friend, Rev. Yvonne James-Henderson, officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery, where she will be remembered with her military honors, and laid to rest next to her husband.
