Sarah Alice Clark Miller's Obituary
Sarah Alice Clark Miller, 62, of Washington died Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was born June 24, 1956 in Front Royal, VA to the late Edward and Ruth Frazier Clark.
Sarah was a member of Washington Baptist Church. She was an employee of the US Postal Service for over 30 years. She was a Girl Scout leader and participated in Boy Scouts with her grandsons. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steele, playing candy crush and making memories with her grandchildren through travel, carnivals and vacations to make her feel young again. Sarah was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend who never met a stranger and could light up a room with her smile, humor and grace.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Miller; four children, Amanda Rae Brown of Washington, Bobbie Jolene Brown of Scrabble, Kenneth Eugene Miller, Jr. and his wife, Melissa Ann of Lexington, NC, and Gregory Joseph Miller and his wife, Samantha Dawn of Port Charlotte, FL; and one sister, Ruth Ann Foster and her husband, Charles T. of Washington.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Malik Brown, Carter Brown, Thomas Starks, Malachi Brown, Nolan Brown and Bentley Brown, all of Washington, Ryland Brown of Strasburg, Nathaniel Miller, Brianna Miller, Savannah Miller, Brittney Wahl, James Taylor, Jr., and Dakota Euforbia, all of Lexington, NC, Jason Balik, Elizabeth Miller and Noah Miller, all of Port Charlotte, FL.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Phil Bailey and Pastor Jeff Light officiating.
Interment will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Falls, Danny Ellis, Jimmy Beatty, Kenneth Miller, Jr., Greg Miller, Malik Brown, and Carter Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Frazier, Gerald Frazier, Bobby Brown, Thomas Starks, Malachi Brown, Bentley Brown, and Ryland Brown.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
