Sara Price Hill's Obituary
Sara Price Hill departed this world on Friday, September 8, 2017 at The Culpeper. She was born in Madisonville, KY on March 19, 1936 to the late Poley and Constance Marshall Price.
Sara was raised in Clay, KY, graduating from Clay High School. She attended Murray State University and the University of Kentucky. After graduating from UK, she taught mathematics and Chemistry in Paris, KY and in King George, VA. She was a devoted Sunday school teacher at Oakland Baptist Church in King George, VA. Sara’s life was filled with devotion to God and to her family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and loving husband of 60 years, Bob Hill; their five children, Robert G. Hill and his wife, Donna of King George, Ruth Hill Chilton of Deltona, FL, Rebecca Hill Buchberger and her husband, Karl of Tellico Plains, TN, Richard T. Hill and his wife, Rebecca of Ethiopia, and Rachel Hill Furano of Bowler, WI; her younger sister, Jane Price Spahr of Charlotte, NC; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older sister, Olive.
The family will hold a memorial service on September 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at The Culpeper, 12425 Village Loop Culpeper, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Culpeper, 12425 Village Loop Culpeper, VA 22701.
