Sandra Jean Janidlo's Obituary
Sandra J. Janidlo of Montross, Virginia lost her fight with breast cancer on December 16, 2023 at Carriage Hill Rehabilitation Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Sandra was born on March 22 in Bridgeport, CT, and grew up in upstate New York. She spent a summer employed playing Cinderella at the Storytown amusement park (now Six Flags – Great Escape) in Glens Falls. Sandra was later employed in the hospital ward at the Fishkill Woman’s correctional facility. She later moved to East Central Indiana. While in Indiana, she was (at different times) employed at Chicken Shack, Central Manufacturing, Inc and Elder-Beermans. Sandra was an associate member of the Local Moose Lodge in Winchester.
She enjoyed cooking, canning, traveling, reading the Bible, and most of all showering her grandkids with love and affection.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Michael; her sister, Susan Carr (Steven) of Arryo Grande, CA; her three sons, Robert Randall (Michelle), and Chuck Randall of Glens Falls, NY, and Charles G. Jordan of Montross; her three grandchildren, Austin, Emily and Adam; and two step-grandchildren, Ben and Jessica.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Tom Schmidt of Lawton MI and Pete Schmidt of Utica, NY.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., January 13, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
