Sandra H. Cole's Obituary
Sandra Herndon Cole, 67, of Culpeper passed away in her home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. She was born on April 30, 1942 to the late Robert and Lorelei Herndon in Culpeper, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Earn J. Cole and her beloved “Buffy”.
She is survived by her three children, Lori Walker and her husband, Scott of Winchester, Rob Cole and his wife, Pam of Culpeper and Allen Cole and his wife, Tabitha of Ruckersville, six grandchildren, Mark Jenkins, Jordan Jenkins, Kristen Jenkins, Stephanie Cole, Tevis Cole and Gabriella Cole, one great granddaughter, Avra Lynn Lorelei Jenkins, and her Molly Muffin.
Additional survivors include her sister, Ann Herndon of Locust Grove and her brother, Jim Herndon and his wife, Linda of Bristow, her cousin, Judy Collier and her husband, Norman of Winchester, her very dear friends, Dottie Lawhorne of Rixeyville, Kathy Lane of Culpeper, Thelma Spice of Culpeper, and other family members and close friends that she loved so dearly.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Jenkins, Jordan Jenkins, Tevis Cole, Stan Richards, Mickey Martin, Mike Leap, John Cook and Mark Farkas.
