Samuel Seth Robinson's Obituary
Samuel Seth Robinson, 87, of Bumpass, VA passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at his home. He was born January 24, 1936 to the late Johnson and Lillie Robinson.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Marilyn Robinson; daughters, Stephanie Robinson, and Andrea Robinson Bacon; stepson, Thomas McNeil; grandchildren, Alexandria Robinson, Morgan Bacon, and Camden Bacon; and mother-in-law, Linda L. Potts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Andrew Robinson.
Samuel will be truly missed by his family and friends. He retired from the United States Army after serving 22 years. As a chief warrant 3d rank officer CW3 he was proud of his military service and was proud to always speak about it with others. Samuel always loved hunting and fishing and was always telling stories of him going hunting and fishing. He also told stories about where he grew up in his home state of Winnsboro, Louisiana.
Samuel’s family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
