Sammy Brown's Obituary
Sammy B. Brown, 67, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at University of Virginia Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Fredericksburg to late Harold and Frances Brown.
He retired in 1996 from his job as an Artillery Repairman at NSWC in Dahlgren, VA. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Sammy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda H. Brown; a son, Eric Timothy Brown and his wife, Sherry; a daughter, Christy Brown Maynard and her husband, Mark; five grandchildren, Samantha Brown, Courtney Brown, Kimberly Brown, Grace Maynard and McLane Maynard; two sisters, Lisabeth Graninger and Penny Coleman and her husband, Carlton and two nephews; Steven Coleman and Mark Coleman.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 5, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 11:00 am in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
