Samantha Lynn Hartley Lawler's Obituary
Samantha Lynn Hartley Lawler, 44, of Stanley, Virginia, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Montvue Nursing Center in Luray, Virginia. She was born June 26, 1965 in Warrenton to the late John T. Hartley and Una Howington Murphy.
Samantha enjoyed gardening and reading.
She is survived by her mother, her mother’s companion, Roy Berry, and two children, Alexandra and Caleb Lawler. Additional survivors include a sister, Brenda Sue Villagomez and her husband, Javier, a half-brother, John Hartley, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Emmel.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Jeffersonton Baptist Church Cemetery in Jeffersonton with Rev. Ray Berry officiating.
Pallbearers will be Richard Berry, Bob Danner, Buddy Howington, Derek Emmel, Julian Prince and Javier Villagomez. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Jenkins and John Howington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Samantha’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1747, Culpeper, VA 22701.
