Samantha Ashley Scott's Obituary
Samantha Ashley Scott, 37, of Reva, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. She was born
June 29, 1988, to Terry Lynn Szlosek and the late William Matthew McCarley, III.
Sam was a hair stylist for over 10 years serving many in the Culpeper community. She loved to garden and was always excited to pick and share her fresh veggies. She loved her flower garden as well. Sam was an animal lover, especially her Frenchie's, Jolene and Carl. Above all, Sam was a very proud momma of her twin girls, MacKenzie and Rylie.
Sam is survived by her twin daughters, MacKenzie and Rylie Dodson, both of Culpeper; her mother, Terry Lynn Szlosek; brother, William Matthew McCarley, IV (Sarah) of Madison, VA; step sister, Ashely Swett (Nick) of Culpeper, VA; step brother, Kyle Szlosek (Kaitlyn) of Colorado Springs, CO; boyfriend Patrick Lewis of Madison and host of additional family and friends.
In addition to her father, Sam is preceded in death by her step father, Gary Steven Szlosek.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Mike Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 11 a.m.
