Sadie Virginia Norman's Obituary
Sadie Virginia Norman, 80, of Woodville, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at her home. She was born March 22, 1941 in Warren County, VA to the late Walter Durham and Sadie Mae Rosenberry.
Sadie loved going to the senior center in Rappahannock. She loved all the people there and made lots of friends. She enjoyed cookbooks and had hundreds of them. A great cook and baker, most people knew her for her zucchini bread. She was a kind and soft-spoken lady and loved everyone. Sadie was a member of Five Forks Regular Baptist Church.
She is survived by her four children, Yvonne Jones (Rodney), Timothy Norman (Doris), Bonnie Parker (Ronald), and Jimmy Norman; seven grandchildren, William Foster, Jeremy Foster, Corey Norman, Kelsey Parker, April Parker, Matthew Norman, and Grayson Norman; and one great-grandchild, Skylar Hight.
In addition to her parents, Sadie is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, David Abraham Norman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, with Rev. Carl Menefee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Cemetery (Woodville Cemetery), Woodville, VA.

Pallbearers will be Richard Burke, Corey Norman, Kenny Norman, Dean Feaganes, Jessie Feaganes, and Calvin Atkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions may be made in Sadie’s name to the Rappahannock Senior Center at 111 Scrabble Rd, Castleton, VA 22716.
