Ruth "Susie" Synan's Obituary
Ruth “Susie” Synan, 71, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2022 at her home. She was born in Fredericksburg to Clifford and Lucy Staples.
Susie’s life was being a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. Her kids and grandkids were her life.
She is survived by her children, Danny Ray Garland, Jr., and Kimberly D. Jellison (Bobby); her grandkids, Jamie Garland, Kierston Garland, Christopher Collis, and Zachary Collis, a brother, Earl Clifford Staples, sister, Edith Garland, brother, Wayne Staples (Patsy), and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving extended family.
In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Ray Garland, a daughter, Wendy Garland, her former husband, Danny Ray Garland, Sr., and a sister, Audrey Rodgers (Lloyd).
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
