Ruth Ober
Ruth Marquerite Ober, 93, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Bowling Green Health Care Center. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Herbert and Marquerite Martin.
She was a housemother for the Boys and Girls Aid Society of Portland Oregon Adoption Agency.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Crystal Groth of Fredericksburg; a brother, Herbert Martin of Sunnyside, WA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Victor Harold Hecker and John Henry Ober; her son, Victor Harold Hecker and her daughter, Marilyn Hecker.
