Ruth Diener
Ruth Jaggers Diener, 96 of Fredericksburg, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Wilburn Gardens.
Ruth was born June 30, 1912 in Philadelphia, PA, where she lived until she retired with her late husband, Millard Diener, to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1986. She has been living in Fredericksburg since 2006.
Ruth is survived by her son, Walter A. Diener and his wife, Joan ; three grandchildren, John Diener of St. Peters, MO, Karen Diener of Alexandria, VA, and Kelley Diener of Eagle, CO; two great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Schaefer and her husband, Charles of PA and eight neices and nephews.
A private memorial service with internment will be held at the family grave in Vero Beach , FL.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzeheimer’s Foundation, 2217 Princess Anne Street #106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
