Russell Thomas North, Jr.'s Obituary
Russell Thomas North, Jr., 85, of King George, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Heritage Hall in King George, VA. He was born August 3, 1939 to the late Russell T. North and Olive Myree North in Quinwood, West Virginia.
Russell was a member of First Century Baptist Church.
Russell is survived by his children, Donna Jean Charles (Russell), Richard Lee North (Tammy), Steven Wayne North (Marie), Denna JoAnn North, and James Marshall North; a son-in-law, Howard Richmond; a half-sister, Arbutus Stone; a half-brother, James Russell North; and a host of grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Atkins North; son, Charles Russell North; daughter, Regina Sue Richmond; and the mother of his children, Evelyn Francis DePriest.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. at First Century Baptist Church, 19191 Batna Road, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Lee Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
