Ruby Pullen Reid's Obituary
Ruby Pullen Reid, 90, of Culpeper, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 9, 1935, to the late Dudley Q. Pullen and Julia Dulin Pullen.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Reid; three children, Donald Lee Irwin (Melinda), Tina Lacy (Larry), and Stanley “Butch” Reid, II (Valerie); eight grandchildren, Robert Clark (Joanna), Matthew Clark (Liz), Kevin Irwin (Amanda), Ronnie Lacy (Amanda), Katelyn Blatz (Warren), Stefani Hurst (Tony), Adam Groome (Brittany), and Trey Reid; three siblings, Elsie Wines, Carolyn Sue Taylor, and Sandra Kay Pullen; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wayne Irwin; seven siblings, Frank Pullen, Bradley Pullen, Billy Pullen, Eleanor Ryan, Ann Williams, Barbara Morris, and Gracie Himes.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Rd., Jeffersonton, VA 22724.
