Rubby Ann Tolley's Obituary
On May 5, 2019, at the young age of only 48 years old, Rubby Ann Tolley, loving mother of three sons and four grandchildren went to be with the Lord.
She was born in Fredericksburg, VA on May 4, 1971. Rubby loved helping others in any way that she could. She volunteered at several shelters and group homes throughout Fredericksburg. She had a huge heart and a sense of humor that would make everyone around her laugh out loud and will truly be missed by all that knew her.
Rubby was preceded in death by her father, James Tolley.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Tolley. She was the loving mother of three sons, Matthew Allen Tolley (Amber), Zachary Michael Klein and James Edward Tolley; three grandchildren and one on the way.
She loved spending time with her family which includes five sisters, Debbie Vasquez (Duani), Terry Tolley, Dottie Crow (Robert), Tammy Lynn Ramey (Dean), and Phyllis Jean Headley (Louis); a brother, Reggie Allen Tolley (Carol); four nieces, Tina Lynn Tolley, Tamara Lynn Tolley Tyree (Andrew), Shelby Tolley, and Elizabeth Tolley; five nephews, Austin Lee Crow, Ryan Wayland Headley, Colin Tolley, William Danford, Jr., and Harry James Danford; two great-nieces, Summer Lynn Tolley, and Winter Rose Ramey; and three great-nephews, Andrew James Tyree Jr., Connor Dean Tyree, and Brantley Allen Tolley.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 164 New Hope Church Road, Fredericksburg, VA. There will be a private interment following the service. Our heartfelt thanks go out to New Hope United Methodist Church.
