Roy David Chinault
Roy D. Chinault, 58, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at UVA at 1:10 pm.
Born and raised in Fredericksburg to the late Ralph and Gracie Chinault. Retiree from Safeway after 30 years of loyal service.
He passed away while his loving family sat by his bedside. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Roberta Chinault; two daughters, Raquel White and husband, K.C., and Angie Cook; five beloved grand-children. Also survived by brother, Richard Chinault and wife, Linda; and numerous beloved close family members and friends.
Roy’s family will receive friends on Friday, September 26, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels~Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 10:30 am at the funeral chapel with Rev. Paul R. Harfst officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In leiu of flowers, Roy’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in his name to the Sylvania Heights Baptist Church, 150 Church Street, Fredricksburg, VA. 22408 or to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) care of Dave Brennan: Dominion Eagle Financial Group: 1107 Heatherstone Drive, Fredericksburg, VA. 22407-4828.
