Roselyn Fannon Rothrock's Obituary
Roselyn Marie Fannon Rothrock, 75, of Castleton, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in the presence of her family. She was born April 11, 1939 in Washington D.C. to the late Chester W. Fannon, Sr. and Hazel S. Massimo Fannon.
Mrs. Rothrock grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and had been a resident of Rappahannock County since 1987. She graduated from Georgetown University and worked for Pan American World Airways. She cherished her family and will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons; James H. Rothrock V and his wife, Star of Flint Hill, VA, and Michael P. Rothrock and his wife, Celena of Buffalo, NY; two brothers, Chester W. Fannon, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Castleton, VA and David L. Fannon and his wife, Dutchy of Dogue, VA; two grandchildren, Laurel and Sadie Rothrock; and one granddaughter, Hayden Ramirez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Rothrock IV.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington VA 22747 with Father Christopher Murphy officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
