Rose Marie Tyler's Obituary
Rose Marie Tyler, 55, of Culpeper, VA died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at UVA Culpeper Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1966 in Charlottesville, VA to the late John and Rebecca Tyler.
Rose accepted Christ at an early age under the Rev. Howard Staunton. She graduated in 1986 from Culpeper County High School. She enjoyed learning and playing outdoor games. She especially enjoyed playing cornhole with her sister-in-law, Lori Henson-Cox.
Rose is survived by her siblings; Vance Lee Brown (Vanessa), Mary Ann Brown, John Robert Tyler, Jr., Kevin Lee Tyler (Hazel), and Loretta Ann Tyler; her aunt, Viola Brown, uncles Elwood Brown and Alfred Tyler, as well as who she considered to be her second family; the Frye family. Rose is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; William and Carrie Brown, her paternal grandparents; George and Daisy Tyler, uncles; Samuel Brown, Rev. William Brown (First Lady Bernice), James Brown, her aunt; Lacy Smith, and her brothers; Rodney Brown and Frederick Brown.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Frye family as well as to Annie and Mary Taylor, and her last surviving aunt, Viola Brown for their constant love and support.
Though Rose spoke few words…her smile spoke volumes.
