Rose Marie Huffman's Obituary
Rose Marie Huffman, a beautiful, kind and caring woman, wife and mother, passed away after a brief illness on February 24, 2023.
Born in Dayton, OH in 1963, she was raised in Florida along with her sister, Elizabeth Huffman Ross, and her two brothers, Frank Matthew and Micheal Paul Huffman. She attended Choctawhatchee High School and went on to attend the University of South Alabama earning a B.S. in Computer Science.
After graduation, she moved to Northern Virginia to work for BDM, then moving to MCI and finally MCI WorldCom before breaking away to form her own company, Imag-i-nation Designs and Consulting in 2002.
It was in Northern Virginia that she was introduced by friends to Curtis N. Tammany in 1993. They married November 26, 1994. Together they moved to Fredericksburg where they made two additions to the Huffmany Family: William Connor Tammany and Ethan Quigley Tammany.
She was very active in her church, St. Patrick Catholic Church and its school. An attentive mother, she was involved in the The Race for Education, annual school auctions, Destination Imagination tournaments, the boys’ sporting activities of soccer, basketball, and Boy Scouts.
Always a friend who was willing to lend a helping hand to friends or family in need, but one who could not easily accept help in return.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donne Lee Huffman and her mother, Carolyn Delores Bischoff Huffman.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis and their sons, Connor and Ethan.
The family will receive 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Rd. Fredericksburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9149 Elys Ford Road, Fredericksburg.
