Rosanna E. Golden
Rosanna E. Golden, 92, of Culpeper died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Amerisist Assisted Living facility in Culpeper.
Rosanna was born November 14, 1918 in New York City, NY to the late Michael and Alice Feit.
Rosanna was a New York City telephone operator, an artist, designer and enjoyed working in the Monmouth County Library’s Children Room and later retired from Fort Monmouth, NJ, where she worked for civilian personnel, SATCOM and did medical research at Patterson Army Hospital.
Rosanna married and moved to Monmouth County, NJ in 1947 then in 1955 the Golden family moved to Red Bank, NJ and in 1991 Rosanna moved to Culpeper, VA.
Rosanna is survived by three of her children, Patricia A. Baker and her husband Larry O. of Culpeper, VA, Michael D. Golden and his wife Nancy of Morris Plains, NJ and Timothy P. Golden of Virginia Beach, VA; she has 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her daughter-in-law Sandra Golden of Hopkinton, MA. and many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rosanna is preceded in death by her husband John Joseph Golden and their son John Joseph Golden, Jr. as well as two sisters and one brother.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date in Red Bank, NJ with burial at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
