Rosanna Weiser Edwards, 66, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at 12:52 a.m., surrounded by love and held in the tender care of her sister, Carol, during her final days.
Rosanna’s life was defined by devotion — to her family, her work, and the people lucky enough to know her. For 40 years, she was a loyal and committed team member in her career, someone who could always be counted on to keep things running smoothly. She was fiercely dedicated and known for her feisty spirit — never afraid to speak up or stand her ground when it came to getting the job done right. Her determination, honesty, and high standards earned her the respect and admiration of everyone she worked with.
Over the course of her career, Rosanna formed countless friendships that became like family. She had a special way of making everyone feel valued — dependable, straightforward, and caring in all she did. The bonds she built with her colleagues were genuine and lasting, built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence. She also cherished lifelong friendships with her girls from school, a special sisterhood that endured decades of memories, laughter, and unwavering support. These friendships brought her great joy and were a treasured part of her life.
Above all, Rosanna’s heart belonged to her family. She poured herself fully into raising her children and cherishing her grandchildren and great-grandson. Her daughter, Erica Schoolfield, and sons, Ryan Edwards and Chase Edwards, were her pride and joy — and her grandchildren, Jaydon Huckaby and Mia Jones, along with her great-grandson, Messiah Huckaby, brought her endless happiness and light.
Rosanna is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Hunter Perkinson; her nieces, Stacey Garcia and Hayley Perkinson; her nephew, Hunter Perkinson III; Sonny and Jan Weiser; and many other cousins, as well as her dear friend, Jamie Sieffert, who held a special place in her heart.
Those who knew Rosanna will remember her as selfless, strong, and deeply devoted — someone who gave her all to the people and work she loved. Her legacy is one of love, strength, and dedication that will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.
