Rosalie "Roselia" Kellison's Obituary
Rosalie “Roselia” Kellison, 80, of Bumpass, VA, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Woodbine Nursing Home with her family by her side.
She was born July 17, 1940 in North Carolina to the late, Ralph Brooks and Lovedy Locklear.
Rosalie was born into a strong native family, (Orginal 22). She was a CNA and spent her life taking care of the elderly. She was a loving mom and grandmother, who took pride in her children making sure they had everything they needed.
Roselia is survived by her children, Ricky Jones (Tammy), Bill Kellison, Randy Kellison (Julie), Dallas Kellison, Jr. and Brayden Lee (Kira); grandchildren, Christopher Kellison, Adam Kellison (Kaitlin), Billy Kellison, Ricky Jones, Jr. (Shelley), Ahweesnah Che Jones, Michael Kellison, Brandon Kellison, Dallas Kellison III, Amanda Kellison, and Brittany Kellison; and great-grandchildren, Dana-Summer Ratiu, Rylie-Nichole Lee, Grayson St. Amand, Enoli Grey, Ellie Grace, Ethan Kellison and Brayden Kellison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas Kellison, Sr.; daughter, Mary Lee Brooks; son, Ervin Jones (Doris); and siblings, Betty Rose, Paul Brooks, Silas Brooks, Ralph Brooks, and Tiny Brooks.
Roselia’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks will be required in the funeral home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
