Jacobsen; daughter, Princess A. Goodman; son-in-law, Terry Goodman; granddaughters, Taryn Goodman, K. Tenille Goodman, and Shyann Jacobsen; and family loved one Adrean Bastien.
Ronald K. Jacobsen was born May 24, 1944 to Cecil and Gladys Jacobsen, of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was the youngest of seven children (three brothers and three sisters) he grew up on the family farm located in Roca, Nebraska, where he learned lifelong lessons of respect, generosity, and the love for family. God gifted him with courage, humility, love, grace, and mercy.
He loved the great outdoors, which carried over to his career of choice, builder of homes, in his earlier, healthier days he loved to play sports, camping, boating, and golfing. He loved the Nebraska Cornhuskers no matter what the record was, animals, and was the biggest kid at Christmas, he simply loved and enjoyed life, and he had no regrets. A life well lived is a beautiful thing and a gift from God.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Carol Jacobsen; one daughter; three sons; seven granddaughters; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends to whom he loved all dearly.
He was an amazing son, loving husband, devoted father, brother, and friend. To have known him was simply to love him. He loved and in return he was loved.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; three brothers; one sister; and baby son of whom he has been reunited with.
A private gathering was held December 2, 2017 by family, friends and loved ones to celebrate, honor and remember the life of Ronald “Ron” ‘Ronnie” Jacobsen. His life was of honor, love and faith. He has been renewed in heaven and on earth he will be remembered and cherished.
