Hey Fuzzy Pickles. Chicken Butt here. You, me and Cody were a great team on the Carni for 4 years. No one got their heads together and made better Space Pix than us. That was a long time ago ~1985 and I enjoyed our staying in touch over the years thanks to your random phone calls. So often you'd have to leave voice mail and I was always really good at returning your calls. I've just listened again to your VM on 30Dec2012 - I didn't realize I needed to get back to you more quickly so we could have one more talk. Love you Ron.
Ron was a very unique individual. Hard to touch in person, but a true reminder why dogs are better than people. He so loved his dogs (and cats). He was (and I'm sure still is) so excited that his dogs Colgan and Cassidy were chosen as the winners of the pet calendar for the local paper. Ron, I love you and will always remember the July 4th cook out @ your house. Enough said my friend...Fly like an eagle....
I would like to celebrate the path I got to walk with Ron. He was the hardest best friend you could have. I got to celebrate his great achievements with him at Schwans. Shared in his tragedies as his best friends (his dogs) would pass on. Perplexed with him over his computers or cell phone. Pondered on his magnificent memory of "things" and "stuff". Accepted most of his challenging questions and set in amazement of his stories of better days. I will miss the random phone calls and the unique e-cards at Christmas. Breathe easy my friend.
